Poor Sam. I'm unable to fix your puzzle. Here's to another month with you stuck in my head.
Right now, I like my second attempt with the first act. We will see. Take two:
I'm looking at the window display of two cows kissing. One of the cows looks strangely like my ex-wife. If the pink cow is my ex-wife that would make the blue cow her second husband. I instantly want to rip the blue cows' head off. I ducked into this vestibule as the rain began to fall. No amount of concrete overhead can shield me from this. I repeat the mantra Dr. Silva discussed in our last session, "Forgiveness begins with me". I will not think about my ex-wife. I will not allow the rain to engulf me. I will not decapitate a window display cow head. I'm going to eat a cheeseburger after this or a steak. Where is my mother? I'm suppose to meet her at a yarn store. I don't want to wait for her inside the store like an (bad word), so I'm outside of a building on 45th Street. (Bad Woman Yarn) I see her benz pull up, a gift from me for some holiday/event which I can't recall at the present moment.
"Hello, darling", she says as she kisses my cheek. "Honey, I've been knitting and I want you to pick out some yarn so that I can knit something for you. I've been working on a scarf and I am too afraid to continue because I don't want to drop a row. Plus, I messed up on my reggae scarf. Is it red, yellow, green and black or is it just red, yellow and green? I did the later and I'm thinking I have to undo half of my project."
"Reggae?"
"I call the scarf, Bob Marley", she says and grins at me.
I look at her in disbelief, "What do you know about Reggae?" I shake my head.
"I know Easy Skanking and Lively up Yourself".
Oh, God. "Okay Jamaica, calm down. I think the three colors will suffice.
"I've been listening to Reggae music on Pandora. It puts me in the mood."
"Mom, I'll buy you some CD's". I look at her and smile.
