I was going to write something profound but I forgot what it was about. C'est la vie. I reckon it was about Jason Duran of all people. I wonder if he is a good person? Regardless...maybe it's too early to discuss what I want to discuss? Oh, bother. How long has the season been going on? A month? It could all come crashing down. In true Red Sox fashion. I'm happy for him. If it all falls apart. I'm happy for him and what has occurred on the field. May his success continue.

I guess I died yesterday

 

I was unaware of my death. I was almost in a car accident yesterday morning so this all makes sense. I love you, Xander Bogaerts. I always will. Get that money, Aruba. You deserve it. I can't compare this to Lester and Mookie. This is fresh and raw and it carried my fandom with it. Who am I if not a Red Sox fan? Who am I stabbing with a fork in the afterlife? Am I stabbing myself?

I died.

Zombies ate my brains.

The Red Sox killed me. 

I am not a Red Sox fan anymore....

as if that would really happen. 

I just want to die all over again.

What does this all mean? Nothing.

Am I leaving the Red Sox? I don't know. I can't. I love them too much.

Oh expletive. In 2019 when I had to take a day off of work for mental rest due to the Red Sox season I had no idea what the future would hold. And this is just sports. Something so trivial, rigged, and beautiful. The Bruins lost today, the Red Sox are 3-7 (.300), 50 games left of the season, and Eduardo Rodriguez has been shut down for the season (he joins Chris Sale. Lord have mercy). Somehow I will survive this and you will too.

I watched the Red Sox win (49-35, 1st in the AL East). That was sooooooo good.

It's true, it's true...

It was a Shinsuke Saturday and a Shinsuke Smackdown (I cried). A Sale and Sandy León Wednesday. Keep it up boys: No mercy. The Celtics and Boston Bruins made the playoffs. Gronk was in WrestleMania 33. I think that was part three of the Superbowl (Part One: Cena vs. AJ during the 2017 Royal Rumble and then the actual Superbowl LI). 

I gave the toddler 24 Red Sox goodie bags, to pass out, and two Boston books for the classroom. Boston Red Sox 101 by Brad M. Epstein which I seriously want to buy for myself. The other book was Hello Boston! by Martha Zschock. Which was adorable. I wish I could have added more stuff in the goodie bags. It contained a Red Sox pencil, a MLB pencil, a MLB swirly straw and a bag of fruit chews. Fruit chews which expire in three months. All housed in a goodie bag that looks like a Red Sox jersey. I suppose the most important thing was that there were enough bags to go around. I initially bought these Boston Red Sox printed sunglasses, but they were too big for toddlers. It only dawned on me now that I should have added baseball cards to the bags. Oh, well. Go Red Sox! Off to watch Wrestlemania 33 again.

Thanks for a banner season, men.

I watched it all and lived to tell about it. The pain will break an already broken heart just a little bit. If I allow it to. But, this is baseball sweetheart it's part of loving Boston. (Yes, this is going into a lyric.)

It was an exciting game 3 Yesterday afternoon. Wish the outcome was different, but I understand. I'm praying in my living room feeling foolish to pray for something so small. The camera pans to others praying and I am able to chuckle at our fandom.

I thank you God for a great season.  I hope David isn't too sad.  I hope the rest of the team and organization isn't too sad either. God Bless them this off season and in 2017.

I wonder who will be let go, who the Sox trade for and what the 2017 season will be like?
