Listening to Stadium Arcadium

I don't know about you but it's time to eat waffles, read and watch Pride and Prejudice. Congrats Red Sox! AL East Champs. I'll take all the merch, thank you. Re-working my pie song.

...I didn't end up doing any of the waffles bit. I did work on the song though.

Listening to TESD #300. Thanks, guys. Thanks for the yuk yuks, triggers and Sunday Jeff. "We live in the greatest era for nonsense." - Walt F.  TESD: 154 Olympic Sellouts.

Looks to the left and to the post below. I certainly have a thing for palm trees (plants in general), sunlight and flares. So what? (So what? Who cares? - Joy Behar) It's my thing. I've had this modus operandi since junior high.

tengo un problema pastel

The one without poetry is unfiltered.

Tengo un problema pastel
a work in progress.

Chorus: tengo un problema pastel
tengo un problema pastel
how do you solve a problema pastel?
how do you say no to pastel?

calories, calories deadly diabetes
oh, sugar what did you do to me?

I'll figure this out later...

Later being 9.7.16

In August I said adieu to pie
which lasted two weeks and then I broke down, broke down
Lemon meringue on a Saturday
Sweet Potato on a Sunday it went with the fried chicken
Coconut custard Monday
Peach Tuesday
Sugar free peach on a Thursday
and Pumpkin
Oh, sweet pumpkin on a Friday in September
right around Labor Day
Pumpkin marked the beginning of Fall
not to mention a slice of red velvet cake and brownies from a church fundraiser
The brownies were justifiable
The rest not so much

Chorus: I don't eat pie like a normal person

Verse 2: I can still taste that meringue
and that memory will have to get my through...
Wha? I can't eat pie until November?
well, that won't last
I have a blueberry pie calling my name
sometime in October
When the Red Sox claim the pennant
I won't hold my breathe, Go Sox
If those Giants swoop in on the Dodgers I'm going to need therapy
or is cherry a more desirable pie for the Red Sox?
Is cranberry pie a thing? When I think of Massachusetts I think of cranberry bogs like in the commercial

Clouds and things

I want to eat a taco salad, rewatch the Poland RHCP concert livestream (Open'er Festival), watch Pride Prejudice and Zombies, read, play a video game and bask in the Summerness. On a hammock over looking the ocean. Or on a boat, docked on land, watching a Jaws movie marathon/playing the Jaws video game (1987 release on NES). I also want to read a comic book, but lets not get too crazy.

Summerness, word.

The Longest Wave

I injured my foot by stepping into this drop-off. "Not the drop-off" - Finding Nemo.

It's good to be alive. Even with a throbbing foot.

What I have on a Sunday

I just finished listening to "History of Hawaiian Steel Guitar". Dope, quite dope. Back to watching the Dodgers - Pirates game.

However, the Red Sox are 41- 34 (Hi David Ortiz) .547 and 4 games back. Mayday, mayday. On the brightside tomorrow is Dog Day at Fenway. Don't get bitten.

I began this painting on Thursday 6.16.16. What it looked like last Sunday.

What it looks like today. What did I say on the 19th? I wanted to erase the positive space. Well it only took me six days to reintroduce positive space. I don't know which way is up. It may be dots on the left hand side. Whatever...

Ceci n'est pas une endorsement. I like the composition and colors. Feel the Bern. I'll always have dead flowers.  Like it or not.

Snow Mint

Good luck with tackling the snowstorm.

After this, no more dead plant flowers. It took me twenty-one days into the New Year to break the rule.

"Strange fascination, fascinating me"

It's gonna be a good one.  Happy 2016.
The photo I wanted to upload, I accidentally erased. Oh, well.

This new year... No dead flower photos, grass photos or palm trees. Ha. Which will I upload first? I can't help it, it speaks to me.

Felicitations of the Season

My holiday photo this year. When the Winter blues has you down. Know that somewhere in this great world, of ours, you can lie down and roast...melt...lounge away. Take that snowplows.

"La vie ne vaut d'etre vecue sans amour"

Life is not worth living without love - from La Javanaise

Then "Fly Me To The Moon" (Ana Caram) plays in french and we dance, dance away. My love.

This flower hates me so. I finally put it out of it's misery and removed it from the water. Notice it isn't centered in the first photo. Plumeria had the last laugh.

Patriots 10-0. I am 8 and 3 in ff.
