Painting 6.16.16 series

(1 red-ish paint)
Placing paint on paper.

(2 blue paint)
I mentioned on Twitter that I grabbed the blue paint and said I can't make this piece any worse. I immediately regretted my decision. Upon analyzing the photo I've come to terms with it. It wasn't so bad, but not what I am going for in this painting. So, I gessoed over it.

(3 3rd layer of gesso)
(4 added drawing lines)
It's not bad, but I ended up gessoing it again. I'l go with the term whimsical. It was whimsical.

(5 4th layer of gesso)
I applied the color scheme I am going for.

(6 with burnt sienna painting)
I wanted to lessen the positive space. I don't know if I like it. I'll try not to touch the piece again for the rest of the day. Which means in an hour I'll be applying paint to the surface. God help me if I gesso over this piece. What I have on a Sunday. This is called creating, sweetheart.

I'm working on a wave with the burnt sienna painting. That is just the background for the painting. Have you ever seen a yellow wave?
