Blank it. It's now going in my anthology

This is where I sit across from my editor and tell him I'm writing a hockey book and I want to title it - Sitting on Cam Neely's face. Then he tells me that that is obscene to which I respond, "yes have you met me?"
Other titles I'm considering - 1. Cam Neely (the hockey player) is one scary dude
2. What would be included in my hat trick?
3. What was with that guy in Toronto with the flower pen?
But for now the title is Hockey Anthology, boring.

The sitting title is hilarious.  How do I get away with that? Sitting on a guy named Neely's face. Sitting on Neely's face: a hockey anthology. One day I'm confronted by Cam Neely, or God forbid his wife, and I explain that the Neely mentioned is not you. It's about a guy named after you because their is a whole generation that was inspired by you. Take my name for example. I'm named after a Romanian gymnast. Do you know how many "David Ortiz whatever, whatever Nomar Garciaparra's" are out there?

This all began with my tweet about Savy, which p.s. he liked. Smile. On Kevin Smith's national holiday I don't think he came across my internet nonsense. Please recall the title of this post and in true Smith and DIY tag team partners Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa fashion, Voila!

The photos above are a collection of tweets from that Friday. The basis of the book are these tweets (and others) and how they are intertwined around hockey. I don't want to shame Panik at all. I think a lot of people have been there in that situation. I'm more intrigued with what he plans on doing next. The Savy in response to tweet wasn't on April 20th. I have to check on when he tweeted that. I respect what he is doing with concussion research, his openness towards mental health issues, his Bruins career and keeping it tight with the tape. The fact that kids are waiting around for him to tape their sticks like their idols fascinates me. What tape job would you get?

The Columbine anniversary tweet. Columbine greatly affected me. This anniversary, in 2018, I walked over to the post office and saw that the flag in front was at half mast.
