My appreciation for the Red Sox brought me to a peculiar website called Barstool Sports. Pass the half naked girls, I found a voice that appreciated and loved the Red Sox as much as I did. A blogger turned his fandom into what it is today and every week someone recycles the same venom against the company. I don't always agree with certain Barstool-ities takes but this website does have substance and brings escapism into my life. For that I would call myself a Stoolie and wear their merchandise. B.S. is what The Simpsons were in the 90's. Frowned upon during it's infancy and now (or someday in the future) accepted and revered. Maybe B.S. won't be revered but it's dent on sports culture is immortal.
