Holiday photo embarrassment

I don't know what year this was exactly. Somewhere between 2008 and 2011. I think it was Holiday season 2008 or 2009. I'm standing in an office looking at holiday photos taped to a door. I look at a photo that contained the family name and the name Uncle Joe. I tell my friend Beth that "Uncle Joe" looks familiar. Beth and Susan look at me puzzled. Beth says, "Nadia, that is the Vice President". I respond with, "Oh! Well, I didn't vote for him".

Uncle Joe is now the President-elect of the United States.

I didn't vote for his particular ticket in 2008. Shout-out Ralph Nader. I did vote for the President and Biden in 2012. I voted for him and Kamala Harris in 2020.

To this day I don't know if that was a photoshopped holiday photo. I saved a pint of Ben and Jerry's "Boots on the Moooo’n" for this occasion. I've worn blue since Tuesday. I've also worn Red Sox merchandise since Wednesday.

Does this mean I can't eat this piece of chocolate to go along with my lunch? No. It's a chocolate and fudge cow celebration. Where are those jerks who were setting off fireworks during the first lockdown in my city? It better be raining fireworks, safely. Melanie asked what I wanted for my birthday. I've thought about it since Tuesday. I wanted Biden to win and I want Jon Ossoff to win his Georgia Senate election in January.

On the Ben and Jerry's website their is a Boots on the Moooo'n 8-bit arcade game. Moon with 4 O's. I told myself I don't have to read the instructions. I know how to play this game. I had no idea how to play this game.

"It's time to play the game".
