To Ted with love

A running photo blog about a bakery pulling their products off the grocery shelves due to supply chain issues. And my fat ass eating their products before it’s “gone”/ I have to travel 20 miles for a dessert. Which I will not. Is it supply issue due to the cream cheese? Is that the secret ingredient? A marketing scheme? Financial issues?

Ted's Pineapple Macadamia Nut Cheesecake. My love. Macadamia nuts line the outer portion of the cake. A smart and more sophisticated writer would have opened the packaging and showcased the cake. I'm not that writer. I added granola and a brownie to my cheesecake. The granola bits were great.

Ted's Dream Cake. Moist, decadent, and light chocolate. More “cool whippy” than chocolate which is odd to me seeing that chocolate is prevalent in the photo. Apparently I have chocolate issues. Ate 1/2 or 3/4 and then had the rest for dinner. The second time around (dinner) I added granola and a banana. Besides crackers this was my dinner. Dinner of champions. Granola and cake, who knew? I’m also a smart and sophisticated writer. (post added May 10, 2022)

Chocolate Haupia Cake.
This was quite good. Takes the sting out
of the Celtics and Red Sox losing today. I again ate a bit earlier in the morning and had the rest in the afternoon. This was my lunch this time. By itself it is everything. Chocolate and coconut. I felt this was more chocolatey than the "Dream Cake". I would order this again but then when will I get around to doing so? In due time. I've been working out more, don't know if it's assisting, because this blog is going to be the nutritional death of me. The second time I ate this I again added granola, a banana, and this time with apple slices. Delicious. (post added May 11, 2022)

I was able to secure another piece of cake. Pineapple Macadamia Nut Cheesecake. Goodbye again my friend. I managed to save half and will have the other half tomorrow. There has to be another word besides delicious to describe this. Delicious doesn't scratch the surface. A dessert fit for the Gods. Wouldn't it be funny if someone thinks this is the worst dessert known to mankind? If you don't want to feel tropical and stuffed don't eat this. Add fresh mango and passionfruit for more tropical-ness. Some adjective above delicious. This slice of cake looks bigger than the previous one. How deserving of me. Not really. I'm not worthy. (post added May 17th, 2022).

I had my second go at this cake this morning. The granola I used had coconut flakes which I enjoyed with the pineapple and of course a banana on the side. (post added May 18th, 2022).

Okay.
I think I'm done with my Ted's jaunt. (Hawaiian) Chantilly and Haupia cake. I only learned this in the past year, Chantilly cake and Hawaiian Chantilly cake are two different cakes. This was good. Could I taste the coconut? No. Not really. Though you could tell it was Chantilly cake+ as in something was added to the mix.

I thought I was done.
Took this photo on Wednesday, June 1st. Blueberry Cheesecake. I thought this was a Blueberry Cheesecake but the bakery website says it offers a Blueberry Cream Pie. I guess that is what I ate. Quite creamy. I don't think I've had this before. I liked the blueberries. I would add more fruit. I know I ate this with granola and a banana.

Hello again. I ate 1/2 of this this morning. I've had three slices of this cake in the past month. Good Lord. Pineapple Macadamia Nut Cheesecake. Apple slices to show perspective. Doesn't that look appealing if it were next to an apple pie? I could really taste the coconut in this slice. There is coconut in it right? So long, friend. Thank you for the calories and good times.
