First Monday

Story Before P.S.: I've been playing a lot of Forza Motorsport 5. I've never been good with racing games. It's alright. I've also played the other Day One edition games. I've been somewhat decent with killing computer zombies. I haven't even opened the "Rivals" game. The game I really like is the App "Ski Safari". It reminds me of a PC game I played growing up. The game I refer to also deals with skiing and at the end a Yeti kills my character. With Ski Safari, I'm being aided by a Yeti. Not to mention wolves and penguins. I like it. It moves too fast for me though.

Story Now:
Shiny Side Of The Aluminum Foil

Jane, she wants to be known as Cowboy Jane, has a new lease on life. She spent her late twenties and early thirties in a place of sorrow. A gift was bestowed to her. Sometimes, truthfully, she doesn't see the blessings in this gift. But, nevertheless it is a gift. Jane just baked tater tots before watching Monday Night Football this afternoon. She boiled some water which will later cool and become iced-tea. She first baked a batch of tots, then self-made spinach and parsley pizza and then another batch of tots.

When Jane pulled a sheet of aluminum out of the foil box she had to decide on either using the shiny or dull side. She had to think about which side to chose. I suppose she felt their may be a correlation to which side she picked and where she was in her life. "From now on I'm going to shine bright", she told herself.  She made her pick and thought it was a wise decision. Her meal was pretty gosh darn good, too.

After eating she began to think about pies. Baking and eating a cherry pie seemed like a good decision right at this moment. She went online and requested three pie cookbooks from the library. If only to look at the photos. She later conducted an online recipe search for a "diabetic pie" recipe. "I wonder if cookbook printings are in a decline due to the internet"? She also learned something new. "An ingredient of Pecan Pie is coffee, strong coffee. Could it be because this is a diabetic recipe and thus coffee isn't an usual ingredient added to a non-diabetic Pecan Pie recipe? She look forward to making a pie, even if it wasn't cherry. It wouldn't be baked or eaten today but a seed was planted for the future. She wondered if she should look at pie recipes and photos on Pinterest? She looked online and found a "Charm City Cakes" onesie that she will pin to one of her boards.

It was an hour ago when she turned on the TV to watch the football game. She didn't realize that she would be catching the first play of the game. She thought the game had already started. How fortunate to be able to watch from the beginning. Wilsons' team was playing Brees' team. It's loud in the stadium, did the broadcast sound engineers turn down the volume of the outside noise? In ten minutes she will check her Fantasy Football score. As of this morning, she was leading by 20 points. She is up against the last place team in her league. Currently she is 5-7 and hopefully after this game she will be 6-7. Will she break even next week? This is the third year of playing in her family league. Fortunately no one gloats about their success in the league. At least not a lot of gloating takes place. Imagine all of the families with inner turmoils due to Fantasy Football? It's almost dinner time and though she was full an hour and a half ago, thinking about desserts has caused Jane to become hungry again.
