7 quests in 7 days

7 quests in 7 days
The quests:
Whom Gods Annoy
Origin of the Gray Prince
The Ghost Ship of Anvil
Where Spirits Have Lease
Azani Blackheart
A Brush With Death
Fingers of the Mountain

I don't know if I picked particularly time consuming quests. I didn't always fast travel to many of the cities and locations. I researched the quests and took my time. I was able to raise my gamerscore by 100 points and unlock 6 achievements.  I'm now an apprentice in the Mages Guild and The Divine Avenger in the Arena. Fingers of the Mountain was easier than I thought it would be.  I got lost in the Blackheart ruin and Brush With Death was very pretty. I finished the quests in six days but seven days sounds better. By Friday, I forgot what Whom Gods Annoy was about. I had to look it up. I bought a new paralyze spell and I look forward to using it. Die bears (in the video game, not in real life), die.

You always remember your first Elder Scrolls game.

The story of my, not life, consoles

The ramble:
The fog has lifted.
My stomach bug has flown the coop.
Ginger chicken solves everything.
It's a Thanksgiving miracle.
Gracias to you.

The good stuff:
Let me weave you a tale of good fortune, commerce and purchasing two next generation gaming consoles. Two of the same brand mind you. Yes, I believe in owning a back up. It was a late Summer day in my studio apartment. Earlier, I returned home from pre-ordering a XO from the Park City, UT Best Buy. Good place, ask for Carl. I sat there thinking, "What if this one breaks down on me? It will take forever to replace. Can I afford to buy two consoles? Will Best Buy sell me two?". "What if all the consoles in this state are damaged? I should buy an out of state console and check to make sure the serial numbers are vastly different from one another. Then again, I don't think Best Buy will allow me to look at console serial numbers on a launch week."

Something else grabbed my attention and I forgot about my plan until later the next day. I searched to find another store location. Driving out of state to buy a second console. I've done dumber things. Carl and his cohorts would support this decision. Do I want to go to Colorado, Wyoming or Idaho for this road trip? What other attractions can I squeeze in to this adventure and who else would join me?

I chose the state of Idaho. My dog Uriel and my neighbor James joined me. I had to make two trips actually. One to pre-order and another to pick up. We took photos at Twin Falls where the motto is, "People Serving People". I thought about chucking the console into the river as a sacrifice. Decided against it, moseyed on over to Jackpot, NV and gambled. With the roll of the dice I was able to pay for both consoles, the road trip, a Cactus Pete's polo shirt for James and a dog treat for Uriel. The boss on shift awarded us vouchers for a free breakfast. I tipped everyone who mattered and after breakfast I told James to drive us home.

It's been almost a week and my gaming shrine stares back at me. Both consoles work, for now.
