Currently 5 and 2 with a three win winning streak. In other words 5-2 (W3). I'm up against the team in eighth place. I have Emmanuel Sanders, WR playing this Thursday during the Broncos vs. Chargers game. He is projected for a 11.20 game. Manning aim for number 10 please.
I wrote previously that I have not drafted a Manning. I attempted to this year. I forgot about that until I re-read my post. I was number sixth in the draft and the person in fourth place picked Peyton Manning. I ended up drafting Matt Forte in the first round. I picked him because I thought he looked like Areo Hotah from the book "A Feast For Crows" or Heimdell from the movie Thor (Bifröst Bridge in Asgard). However upon further research Hotah is described as one with white hair. Forte does not have white hair. So, I guess this is my Heimdell look a like. Sort of.
I thought about changing my league name this year. I've been "Go Red Sox" for four years. I wanted to be "Go Red Sox Dauntless Leader" which fit the requirement for maximum name length. I changed it before the draft but I changed it back. Primarily because I didn't want to be ridiculed by the other owners. I didn't change it and now that I am doing alright I don't want to jinx anything.
Maybe I'll change it next year, though I told myself I wouldn't play again next year. I am disappointed in the NFL and I don't like the anxiety that comes with playing fantasy football. I want to watch a game in peace. I'm a Red Sox fan I need peace in my life. Then again I'll probably end up playing again next season.
P.S. I'm first place in my league. Snap a picture because this is fantasy football and ranks mean nothing. Get me to the post-season.
